Serbia – Nord Est Business Forum "Regional economic cooperation"

The autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, the Region of Veneto, and the autonomous Province of Trento support and are actively involved in the Serbia-Nord Est Business Forum, organized by FINEST S.p.A. and Trentino Sviluppo in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, which will be held on December 2nd 2024 in Belgrade, Serbia.
The goal of the event is to present the "Nord Est" concept and project, bring it closer to domestic companies and present the potential for further improvement of economic cooperation and connection of the two markets, Serbia and Italy.
The forum will focus on sectors such as agrotechnology with a focus on the food sector, energy and green transition, transport and logistics, construction, health and wellness, artificial intelligence applied to industrial processes, environmental protection and waste management, green transition, smart cities and sustainable mobility, finance and insurance and ICT.
A special role will have the regions of Friuli, Veneto and Trento, which boast the most advanced innovation ecosystem in Italy.
The program foresees a ceremonial opening with the support of high-ranking representatives of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, and of the Government of Friuli Venezia Giulia autonomous Region, Veneto Region and autonomous Province of Trento and Mr. Marko Čadež - President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce. The goal is to present current projects to investors with the aim of further investments in the mentioned areas and to open a constructive discussion between representatives of the profession, companies and decision makers. The day will be concluded with bilateral meetings between Italian and Serbian businessmen.
The event represents a unique opportunity that will enable businessmen to make direct contacts and connect.

The deadline for registration of Italian companies is November 18th 2024, and the working languages of the plenary part of the Business Forum are Serbian and Italian with simultaneous translation provided. Bilateral meetings of Serbian and Italian companies will be in English.
